Should batters be coached to purposely be hit by pitches?
Absolutely not. Purposely being hit by pitches should not be part of the game. Plus, coaches could be sued if a player is hurt.
Yes. This is a tactic that has been used for decades and should be continued. The key is knowing how to be hit without getting injured.
