There is one flaw in their plan that may only be obvious to people who have worked in the service industry. It is near impossible to coordinate a 40 hour full time job with a 30 hour second job when you are required to work the schedule that service workers work. The more limitations you put on your availability, the less hours they will schedule you. If you say you can only work M W F for example, you won't get hired. You might be able to do the late night drive thru window on the weekends for a few extra hours. Also you get raises of about .20 cents per/hour annually if you are lucky and have been a stellar employee! Yipee!!

Where do they come up with these numbers?
What "Mickey Ds" actually gives employees (except salaried managers) 40 hours a week?
Executives make 200 to 300 times the salary of employees who actually work.
