Holding children's interest has become a circus of ever increasing use of"amazing technology". These are wonderful resources, great to have at our disposal and something the children need to be comfortable with to operate in the world we have created but children .... and probably the rest of us are getting further and further away from all sorts of basic realities including natural and social. For a child to be able to occupy their own time without electronic devices is becoming rare as imagination is one of the casualties of our electronic age.
