Why Not make it legal! - Beer, Alcohol and Cigarettes are far worse!

I voted yes because how many fatal acccidents do you see yearly compared to alcohol fatalities whats wrong with that picture hmmmmm the government typical why don't we legalize marijuana and make alcohol illegal and watch what happens I do not see anything wrong with coming home from a hard days work kicking off our boots and smoking a little marijuana to relax but no we have these high class white trash professionals that has never once in there life got there hands dirty and wear suits all day to control us and say no we don't need this let the people vote we keep this country running now why don't we have a little freedom

I will vote YES!!! It is a natural Anti Inflammatory. It helps with my pain. It has so many uses. Off the top of my head: sleep, pain, nausea, anorexia and other eating disorders, as well as anxiety dissorders.
It is a natural Anti Inflammatory I don't know what is in all the prescriptions that I have had to take but..... Marijuana is Natural!!!

Prohibition is not working, legalize it and TAX it, treat it just like alcohol under the laws we currently have DUID (Driving under the Influence of Drugs) is on the books. The tax revenue would help every one.

As much as we fight for freedom in other countries and the billions of dollars our goverment has imbessled from all of us I think that this law is rediculous. Sure smoke ciggs drink booze but no weed and supersized meals. I think I speak for most of us when I say stop taking away our freedoms and allow us the simple pleasures in this short life we have, if your going to make us all work as much as we do and break homes up by making woman work just to tax the shit out of us and in reality make less than minimum wages after its all said and done. Who cares if my toe hurts, I have cancer or I just want to chill out after breaking my back all day? If you tell kids its bad and they try it what else are they going to think your lying about... Stop micromanaging us is what I have to say. If I want to smoke it is my right as a human!!!

I think I would have voted Yes if the question was better quantified. For those suffering from cancer or glaucoma, I would definitely vote YES! For those who hurt their little toe or have some other minor injury that go to their doctor to get their marijuana card, definitely NO. It should only be prescribed for specific diseases to increase the chance of survival or ease pain where traditional pain medicines may be detrimental. California did it so wrong: all you have to do is go to any doctor, say you have a pain somewhere, and you get an open license to smoke grass. It's one of the worst states of medical fraud I've ever heard of. Other states (in Eastern US) are doing it right and we should follow their example if Utah goes down that road.

I've seen polls like this all over the place, and it shows very well that the public is never heard in issues such as this. Look at the majority of the responses here, and yet, it's still illegal and it seems really difficult to get it legalized.
