As the Canadian Prime Minister stated today, "Canada is a reluctant convert in the Syrian conflict and does not have plans of our own for a Canadian mission. However, the risk of not acting against use of chemical warfare would send an extremely dangerous precedent". As much as I do not want to see it happen Syria's regime's recent actions call for a "firm response from the international community".
