I converted to natural gas almost 2 years ago because my oil furnace stopped working. It was one of the best decisions I made because instead of paying $400 a month for heating oil (and that was keeping the thermostat at less than 65 degrees), I am now paying less than half that to heat my home with natural gas.

I would switch to natural gas in a second if there were natural gas lines in the area i live. It's to bad the gas companies don't pipe in rual areas
