Should Cedar Park continue to recruit Schlitterbahn now that Hawaiian Falls is coming to Central Texas?

How about a Disneyland Theme Park--the only ones we have in the U.S. are in Florida and California. We need one in the South!

I find it ironic that in the Impact News September edition, a community feedback poll solicited residents to vote with regards to Cedar Park bringing yet another water park (Schlitterbahn) to central Texas. Yet on the immediately following page, the profound and pronounced effects of this prolonged drought were highlighted and spelled out with graphic detail the potential water problems we are facing. To me, this is a nonstarter. If Cedar Park residents would like to splash around in a water park 5 months of the year, please spend a few extra dollars in gasoline on your drive to Pflugerville. It will be considerably cheaper than the increased water rates city officials will dictate, as even further water rationing ensues, if Schlitterbahn is allowed to come to Cedar Park.
