I have seen nothing but biased reporting and half truths. Sad. We are marching into fiscal doomsday because the road to Hell is paved by the good intentions of coverage for the uninsured. Had this bill not been rammed down our throats we could have come up with something without sacrificing liberty. This is going to turn out to be the biggest Ponzi scheme in US history.
The whole factor that will make this law work is getting young folks into the paying program to off set the larger amount of Seniors and low income folks who need and use the services more then they do. The problem is however Children can stay on their parents plan's until age 26 (reducing the pool) , it is also cheaper to not buy the insurance for a young person and simply pay the penalty! Most catastrophic injuries occurring to young folks are covered by auto insurance already! Further even in a instance where you are not covered you can sign up after the injury since you can't be refused for pre-existing conditions! This is an incentive NOT to join! In example why would a young person who for example was one of the 20,000 people who had their hours cut back by Home Depot want to now spend their even smaller pay checks on a high priced health ins. plan? So far, seven entire states and 1,372 businesses, unions and other institutions have received waivers from the law. The list includes the administration’s friends and allies and, of course, those who have the best lobbyists further reducing the pools of individuals paying into the system!!!! How is this Fair share Mr. Obama???
Massachusetts, one of the bluest states in the country, has requested an Obamacare waiver and Obama has granted their request.

This waiver is illegal for two reasons. First, the waiver was not approved by the U.S. Congress. Second, the U.S. Constitution requires that the federal government treat all states the same. The President Violates the law then complains that people opposed should "Follow the law that has been approved by congress!??" Yet we don't hear a Peep out of the president's water carrying press...perhaps this is because his administration has hired more journalists to work at the White house then any other in American history?
As the Obamacare law was written, the employer mandate was to begin in January 2014. This is what the law said when it was passed by the House and Senate, and signed by President Obama in 2010. However, in July 2013, Obama delayed the employer mandate part of Obamacare until January 2015. Obama did this without approval from Congress. For Obama to change a law that was passed by Congress, without first getting approval from Congress, is a violation of the Presidential oath that Obama took to uphold and defend the Constitution. What Obama did here is an action of a dictator, not an action of a President whose power is limited by a written constitution. If Obama can get away with this, then it sets a horribly dangerous precedent, and means that the President can arbitrarily make any change to any law that has been passed by Congress, without first getting approval from Congress. This act by the president alone removed some 12 Billion dollars from the pool of funds just to sooth the angst of political friends and allies! When the republicans as for the same Delay for individual's The President stamps his feet and says I will not negotiate or allow the country to be taken hostage and Fools effected by this very provision applaud what they don't understand while regurgitating words from the Huffington post and others about evil anarchist republican's...Perhaps the same people should have thought about the words in the Washington times which I regurgitate in kind “Selective enforcement of the law is the first sign of tyranny. A government empowered to determine arbitrarily who may operate outside the rule of law invariably embraces favoritism as friends, allies and those with the best-funded lobbyists are rewarded. Favoritism inevitably leads to c

Everyone in the house & Senate should be fired. These people were sent there to do a job for the American People & they are being Paid well & Have great benefits, but there NOT doing their job. We need to start over & get people who want to make America great. The President, House & Senate are always on the attack either on Social Security, Medicare trying to CUT our benefits. I think it is time the American cut their benefits of the House, Senate & President. See how they like always being attacked. This is America ??? I am so disappointed in our whole system. How are other countries viewing us at this time ???? Shame on you all.

I believe all Americans are concerned with a Government shut down. But do we want to continue on with no concern as to how the money is spent. The AP choice of words in reporting the opposition of the Republicans was quite disgusting. Why is it the Republicans are stubborn in their concern over spending, yet AP says the Democrats are adamate in leaving it as it was written??? Also why doesn't Congress have the same plan that we are being forced to take????
