People get so HOLY that they forget where they been or still doing themselves. And that their humans and we struggle with flesh everyday all day but if God can forgive us for our sins they why the heck cant we forgive our neighbors. Life is too short people to be worried about the pettiness out here. I DO NOT AGREE WITH HIS POLICY,BELIEFS AT ALL. Let one of his kids be in that position and see what he do then!!!

Really!! and u call yourself a pastor. smh, Its so many things to worry about in this life than to question is a woman is married or not with kids. Last I check a blessing/christening isn't about that But giving the children back to the father which he created all things!! people are going to far and putting their own beliefs into the bible and flipping the scripture. and sex without being wed is a sin but the child isn't. Sin is in the sex and the child is gods blessing!!!!!!!

I just want to ask one simple question... By whom was this child actually created? When I last checked per GODS word HE was the ONLY creator of LIFE! One thing I KNOW is that GOD is NOT CONFUSED nor does HE CONTRADICT HIMSELF. I know HE would not create anything the HE does not consider WORTHY to be created. For anyone who THINKS they can do GODS work and SPEAK on GODS behalf...I pray you get it right because judgement is a dangerous thing in the wrong hands. I truly pray this is not true of anyone and is an example of a BAD rumor. We need to KISS and just follow GODS WORD and not even try to put ourselves in HIS league. Even though we may be made in HIS image...we are certainly not HIM

Pastor Winans needs to get a life! Most people saved and unsaved have experienced sex before marriage! He probably has as well! Just because you didn't get pregnant you still committed the act! I can't believe he has the nerve to put babies in a lower category whose parents aren't married! Thats really deep thank God Pastor Winans isn't God would probably all be in Hell including himself and some of his family members! God is a Merciful Forgiving God for his information, and He loves us all whether our parents are married or not!!!!

First of all God told Jesus to go and spread the word to all the people IN THE WORLD !!!! Jesus talk and pray to everyone who wanted to listen and those who did not . HE still told them what his father" SAID ".So it hurt me to my heart when people take the word of GOD and use it for there way or will and not the lord .He don't no what her life style was or how her child came about .The lady could have not been in the church at the time before her baby came about and if she was that is not for him to make a statement .And where in the BIBLE do it say only child can be baptize if the parents are marry . No IF YOU ARE NOT MARRY AND ARE SERVING GOD YOU SHOULD NOT IN NO WAY BE HAVING NO UNGODY WAYS WITH A MAN.A matter of fact whether or not you are marry God say we are not to have NO UNGODLY WAYS WITH ANYMAN !!! The pastor said he would not do it in "front" of the congregation. I'm sure he'd make arrangements to have family enter his office and do the ceremony there. He "did not" refuse to bless someones baby. Why encourage to the congregation that it's ok to have children out of wedlock for our youth to begin practicing and think it's ok with God. Yes, all babies should be bless!

Of course he is wrong, no matter how many degrees,certificates or whatever awards a pastor gets and or needs to " A L L O W " him to make/change/rearrange/start/regulate, etc., while being a Pastor, that kind of judgement/ decision making is only left up to God(our Lord and Savior), is he playing God/is he stepping on God's toes? Or is he(Pastor Winans) just looking for more " 5-minutes-of fame "....not only from his own church but now from the whole country? In other words.....where in the Bible at least in some way justifies such a ignorant and selfish decision? When Abraham's wife couldn't conceive/give him a child, wasn't okay with God for Abraham impregnate Hagar, does he think or feel that child couldn't or turned away from any type baptism or christening? Also lately at our church in the last 6-months, at 2 young visiting Mothers with 2-4 young children decided to join(months apart) our church. Coincidentally both were with there youngest child being under 5-years old and both were coming off break-ups(divorce and regular boyfriend not in the picture), would Pastor Winans say "NO" to new souls/new children of God, whose is looking for salvation and a promise to live for and by the Word? If he is judging the baby by the baby's Mom's sins, what logic is that, we are all born in sin...and what does the baby's future life have to do with his-or-her Mother's life?

If we use Pastor Winans' model, then surely baby Jesus would never have been dedicated either because at the time of His birth, Mary & Joseph were still espoused (engaged) to each other.....so I guess the priests who dedicated Him were wrong to do so, huh??? There is no biblical justification for denying this baby's dedication, none whatever. And when you justify his actions and say it is the policy of that church, then that church has instituted its OWN doctrine and not following the Doctrine of Christ. Besides, it's NOT HIS CHURCH....bible says that Christ is the Head of the Church, not any pastor, anywhere, no matter who or what name they carry. I pray that mother find a local church willing to follow the commandments of God and not the directives/policies of man.
