It's okay that we killed alot of them & stole their land, but all of a sudden its offensive to keep Chief Wahoo, that we've had for over 50 years. And its a logo for the team. People are taking the term Politically Correct way too far.

Chief Wahoo should definately stay! Seriously people, whoever says this is offensive better get a grip. I am Native American and proud of my heritage. This is rediculous to think Native Americans would be offended, and if you are, grow up! It is just another way to cause trouble. I still say prayers and Thank The Lord My God for all his blessings. I pray in public to give thanks for my food and if you dont like it, dont watch. Love the LOGO, KEEP IT!

Everything has gotten out of hand. Wahoo should stay! Santa should be fat! We should not be ashamed to say Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, or any other holiday greeting! People are taking things way to seriously these days. Loosen up! Have fun!

I'm part Cherokee and I'm not the slightest bit offended by Chief Wahoo. He's great! I've noticed how the stadium and merchandisers have been weeding him out, but Wahoo should still be the face of the Indians. A very proud face!

This should not even be a question. Chief Wahoo needs to stay, he even should be put back on the baseball caps!

Wahoo is a relic of the forties and fifties when attitudes regarding American Indians had progressed from "The only good Indian is a dead Indian" to the only good Indians are the ones defeated by John Wayne. It wasn't until I began working with a full-blooded Indian that Wahoo started to bug me. Wahoo's toothy grin within my colleague's culture is viewed as demeaning and portraying a look of sexual promiscuity. I agree with Terry Pluto that Wahoo should go.

The Indian Wahoo logo has been around for so long, why bother changing it now. It goes with Cleveland.

my wife and I both have indian blood in our family's. there is nothing wrong with the logo. if it portrayed them in an bad way, that would be another thing. but it does not. keep it. we should be more ashamed of what was done to the indian tribes in the beginning..

Leave the logo alone. In this day and age, too many people are "offended "over nothing. Let it go. Now they are even calling coaches who's team score a lot of points bullies. It has to stop somewhere.

Chief Wahoo should be treasured and the old sign should be installed in a place of honor in the new stadium.

I have many Cleveland Indians Hats. ALL of them have the Indians "Chief Wahoo" logo on them. I buy nothing with a block C on them, a I on them... I love my Indians! I don't look poorly on the decision to have this as our logo.

Chief Wahoo is a logo / trademark for the Cleveland Indians....If that is offensive then maybe the Cleveland Indians name should also be changed? There are so many things that are offensive but this one should be held in high regards and be proud of it!!
