With all of the people that will sue a Doctor any chance they get I can see why a Doctor would not want to say I'm sorry. If they did make a mistake, they are human, they should be able to say that with out the chance of being sued. I agree there are cases where that might be necessary, but not to the degree it is done in this country

Having worked as an RN for many years, this is a tricky question. I voted "Yes," but I'd like to read the wording of the bill.

I think it is a REAL SHAME that a law is needed for a doctor to be made to say he's "sorry". It should be 'automatic that it would come from the heart and not the head! The patient or patient's family is feeling bad enough and at that time would be grateful and feel somewhat better just hearing those words.
(I speak from personal experience.)
