INHERITANCE CYCLE! IT MADE MY TOP 5 BOOK SERIES LIST. AND I READ BOOKS SO MUCH! WHEN IM SUPPOSED TO BE LEARNING, WHEN IM SUPPOSED TO BE EXCERSIZING, WHEN IM SUPPOSED TO BE SOCIALIZING, WHEN IM SUPPOSED TO BE SLEEPING, AND EVEN WHEN IM SUPPOSED TO BE READING!!!
Definitely Eragon! I'll admit, as probably many fans will, that the ending was disappointing and felt sort of untrue. But he wrote himself into a corner from the first book with Angelas prediction. Over it is an amazing example of writing, especially since the first was written when he was only 15!! A huge inspiration to young and old readers and writers everywhere.
Why would they even mention that terrible film adaptation. I've been trying to forget it ever since I saw it.

Again a bad one. Liked TCIOTDITNG :) but inheritance is one of my favorite series ever!
