As far as ratings go for at least the next few weeks, nothing short of ingenious! I loved Brian and will miss him and his relationship with Stewie tremendously, but think about the ratings out of pure curiosity. I will not be surprised to see them double at the very least. Great thinking, and if worse comes to worse, it IS a cartoon and bringing back Brian will be something Stewie will accomplish if necessary for the life of the show. Since they changed those old episodes where Lois had that terrible voice and it just seemed cheap, Family Guy has never disappointed, As long as Seth is around I do not expect that trend to change! Best show on TV hands DOWN!!! I look forward to next Sunday night........

Look at the character of Vinnie a deliberately bad fit,like a crocodile at an alligator convention,he's been put there as a wind up, if Brian doesn't come back into the show I'll throw away all my tablets and smartphone ( but I won't have to cos I'm 100% sure he'll be back. Can't believe people fell for it.He'll be back and a lot of folk will be feeling pretty silly,for their outbursts. And those who say they won't watch until he's brought back, you will ! and you knew you would even as you wrote it. Probably more people will watch,thanks to the free publicity. At first, I thought it was just a joke, but then I saw it more and more on internet. I didn't watch the episode 'cause I record them and listen to them during the week-end. I got scared and checked on youtube. I stared in awe at Brian's death on youtube. It took me some time before I realized that he was truly gone... Can I cry forever?

I see this as a good thing because of what good this can actually do for the whole family and maybe even the ones around them usually. From this one ep we can see that the family has accepted Vinny and Stewie was the most affected by this given how he acted, like most of you am I right? This can give the characters some much needed growth and attention if they actually pay attention and taking out Brian was a good choice seeing as 1. He's a dog, he's inevitably going to be dying first anyways. 2. He has a connection with everyone and he has affected them greatly. Not only is losing a dog to a car sad, but when he actually is like people and has all this history behind him it's even sadder, not to mention how this is Fam Guy. If they don't do some 80s Star Wars ghost thing or Beetlejuice thing to get him back into the show again I'll be surprised.
Also, if you drop the show and that happens on a majority, then that's basically officially given the character it's death seeing as there would be bad ratings and less viewers enough to cancel it and having no way to make eps to the point where Brian can come back. Also you can't have it be rushed otherwise the feels are all bullshit.

BRIAN IS NOT DEAD! It was Brian's car that ran over Brian. So this could mean it was a future Brian that killed a past Brian. There is upcoming episodes with Brian's name in the. Which also give it away that HE WILL be back. I think Vinny is Brian's son.

At first, I thought it was just a joke, but then I saw it more and more on internet. I didn't watch the episode 'cause I record them and listen to them during the week-end. I see this as a good thing because of what good this can actually do for the whole family and maybe even the ones around them usually. From this one ep we can see that the family has accepted Vinny and Stewie was the most affected by this given how he acted, like most of you am I right? This can give the characters some much needed growth and attention if they actually pay attention and taking out Brian was a good choice seeing as 1. He's a dog, he's inevitably going to be dying first anyways. 2. He has a connection with everyone and he has affected them greatly. Not only is losing a dog to a car sad, but when he actually is like people and has all this history behind him it's even sadder, not to mention how this is Fam Guy. If they don't do some 80s Star Wars ghost thing or Beetlejuice thing to get him back into the show again I'll be surprised.
Also, if you drop the show and that happens on a majority, then that's basically officially given the character it's death seeing as there would be bad ratings and less viewers enough to cancel it and having no way to make eps to the point where Brian can come back. Also you can't have it be rushed otherwise the feels are all bullshit.

Change can be good but this is going to far, I could've dealt with moving to another city or maybe adding another character to the list. This is by far the worst thing Family Guy has EVER done!! They need to fix this massive mistake immediately. If you want to kill somebody knock off on of the supporting cast but not any of the family members (Brian included) or the main characters!! BRIAN IS NOT DEAD! It was Brian's car that ran over Brian. So this could mean it was a future Brian that killed a past Brian. There is upcoming episodes with Brian's name in the. Which also give it away that HE WILL be back. I think Vinny is Brian's son.
