Do you think Ohio should put an indoor ban on electronic cigarettes?

this is so stupid .. cars & any vehicle, are more dangerous than an e-cigarette .. they just want to run people's lives!!! so sad what america has come to ... many who smoke don't have the luxury to smoke where they want now and turn to the e- cig .. and many who are trying to stop smoking use this, so now it is illegal to emit harmless vapor into the air? why don't they ban driving any vehicle , or factories that flow smog into the skies .. haha and for new york to do this, lmao they are the most polluted state there is .. i see not wanting kids to smoke them because they are still getting tobacco in a form, but there is no harmful smoke and no ash and no risk to others!!! grow up and get out of the peoples lives and personal choices!!!! next we wont be allowed to chew gum in public places .. i feel everyones rights slowly slipping away little by little!

My ecigarette doesn't look like a cigarette, so that excuse about not being able to tell cause they look like cigarettes doesn't hold water with me. I guess ecigarettes are New Yorks biggest problem right now, Not another thing to worry about in the state, more important? How nice to have all the ducks in a row. lol

Their is an e-cig forum. It has the most information on the topic. Search ecig forum. E-cigs have helped me quit smoking also, now after 25 years of smoking "analogs" I and my family are free of the nastiest habit in the world. No more waking up hacking up my lungs, Stinky ashtrays, smoke film everywhere. If you smoke I highly recommend checking into an ecig. If I can quit anyone can. Government needs to stop over regulating what we do in our personal lives!

What is the United States coming to... Come on people .... cant you see your rights are slowing but surely being taken away... I will not give up my rights. I am of age to decided if I want to eat , drink or smoke . E-ciggerettes dont harm anyone. What reason are you giving for the ban... Dont say for the younger generation not to get the wrong idea because the younger generation is robbing,,, killing and or the biggest whinners .... I have an e cigg and I will use it no matter where I am.... Screw this crap... I will not allow all my rights to be taken away....

We'll here we go again people crying over products that do no harm to the user or the people that are around the use of E-vapors cigs I believe people in society today are big baby's and cry over any and every thing so here to you world grow up I don't think this electronic device should be ban for indoor use and if they are ban in the state of ohio then outlaw the use of air freshening's

I have use e-cigarettes it help me stop smoking. No smell, but it taste not that good.

I have been smoking ecigs for awhile now. As far as the smell, mine smell like peppermint. I have quit smoking cigarettes and feel much better. Why does big brother try to ban things that they don't like but have no proof that they hurt anyone including the smoker? One more instance of the old Puritan way of thinking. They will be burning witches at the stake again before long.

I have been smoking these for the last 3 years, and I feel so much better than when I smoked regular cigarettes. I smoke my e-cig at my office, and no one has complained about any smell. IT'S WATER VAPOR!!! Some people just can't keep their noses out of anyone else's business! They just have to complain about something. Another example of the tail wagging the dog. As an example - it isn't PC to say Marry Christmas - they want you to say Happy Holidays instead just because it offends the minority of the people. I'm sick of all this nanny state government has got to go!

My husbend smokes my mother in law and 1 of my 3 sister in laws and my own mother smokes and my mother is using one of those e cigs and they dont smell and it's water vapers so no ohio should not ban them indoors.

At least ban them in movie theaters. A lady in front of us ruined the last movie I went to see by using one of these every 2 minutes and there is still a nasty smell! The theater was full so moving seats was not an option.

Give me a break. WTF.IS THIS WORLD COMING TOO?

  • Brenda - 10 years ago

We pay a lot of tax on cigarettes and I feel you should be able to smoke in bars! This country is becoming a communist country!! Trying to take all of our rights and dictate what we can do and say!!! Give us a break!!!

I have severe asthma and it does not bother me to be around someone smoking an E cigarette, (it's only a vapor), but let's talk about those perfume counters at the mall!

  • Bev Decker - 10 years ago

Holy Cow....what's next ? Lets give it a break on taking rights away. Instead of focusing on NON issues why don't they focus on REAL issues.... like the economy, corruption, drug dealers, alcohol / child abuse and drunk driving. Those are a few issues that are much more harmful to people than an E-Cig. If I were in a restaurant eating, I would much rather sit next to someone with an E-Cig than a loud mouthed obnoxious drunk !

  • Nichole - 10 years ago

Ridiculous. There really isn't anything in them that can be harmful to anyone else so I don't see the point. People always have something to whine and complain about. How many more rights as citizens are we going to get taken away?
