This is crazy! I am not in a sorority, but I understand what they stand for. I agree with the majority on here. SORORITY- women, FRATERNITY-men! God made you as a man, act like a man! You can be a gay man and still do/act manly! I don't condone homosexuality, but I don't discriminate against homosexuals. I have a niece and nephew that are both gay & I love them all the same. All I am saying is, stay in your places! If you were born as a male, try a fraternity!!! Or create your own fraternity. You must keep in mind, although you have female tendencies, you are not a female! You check male on your applications, you do not have a menstrual cycle & you use the men's restroom.

#1 Suing for homophobia when I'm pretty sure there are some homosexual AKAs out there. Every heard of Wanda Sykes? And one of my sorority sisters is a lesbian.
#2- Discrimination? Really? Idk about AKA's rules and protocols, but you must be a female. A human born a female. Not dress like one or act like one, but are naturally one. That's why its call SORORITY. And for Lucky, you will not be an AkA, Delta, Zeta, or SGRho if you are indeed a male. Point black period. Cant wait to see these idiots get shut down. Im in a frat and been in sense 85 and the frat. Consist of black men's that all had the same opportunity to pledge, if you want to belong to fraternity or sorority start your own,and leave history alone

I think still at the end of the day they are men! If they can't go to a women's prison or vice versa then they shouldn't be able to join. It has nothing to do with being gay it has to do with them being MEN which they were born... just my opinion

Alpha Kappa Alpha, Incorporated dies not hold a patent on the colors Pink and Green. I'm not sure if there is an organization called Kappa Alpha Kappa, if not they can use those letters and start whatever they want.

Just because your a gay male doesn't qualify u to be a woman now that u like the same thing as them (men). Get over it!! It's been this way for years. The definition of a sorority is a social society for women who are students at a college or university, with a name consisting of individually pronounced Greek letters. It does not have anything to do with sexual orientation but your sex. Gay or straight, you are not a woman. Join a fraternity because you are male.
