When I saw that one of the teams was Rice, I thought I was watching college football.

It quite frankly makes no sense with the elimination of conferences. Change can sometime be good and warranted, but his one boggles the mind. This is sandlot football which dummies down NFL football to a level that is unwatchable for those of us who loves the seriousness and authenticity of the real game. Some small changes could work to improve the game but not this one. It was over the top and failed miserably.

When I was a kid, my father took me to see these games in L.A. Then it was exciting, now it is boring. We don't need this game anymore. Pro anything anymore need a lesson of humility, and not I'm the best, because they are not. Playing any sport is a privilege, not a right, so treat it as such. Does anyone remember, Johnny U, Y.A Title, Norm Van, Crazy Legs, Jim Brown, Otto Graham, Bobby Lane(Det. QB) played drunk more than sober. All of these players have roll in way the NFL has survived and is as big is it today. America be grateful, these are wonderful times!!!!!!!!!

The Pro Bowl was already on it's last leg as it was. Now mixing it up so that there is no AFC vs. NFC any more truly defeats any reason or purpose to continue having this game at all. No reason to watch it ever again.

Hated it! The morons who run the NFL eliminated the sense of competition for the viewer by mixing up the two conferences. The entire Super Bowl process is BASED on the two conferences fighting it out. We didn't know who played on what side, no one printed the rosters, even NFL.com kept that a secret from the viewer, WHAT A DEBACLE. The NFL has GOT to be staffed by THE dumbest front office in all of sports.

If the players want to avoid injuries, institute flag football for this game only! The competition would be better, the desire to make the "tackle" and get the QB would be reinvigorated, no one would get hurt and the game would be FUN for them and FUN TO WATCH. To see these guys scrambling to get hold of that flag, with the guy with the ball dodging and squirming to stay out of their reach, would be VERY entertaining.

NOTE: TO REPEAT: Flag football FOR THIS GAME ONLY. The experiment would draw millions to watch, and i personally have no doubt they would be thoroughly entertained by what they saw TO THE END, INCLUDING SITTING THROUGH THE COMMERCIALS, which they DON'T see now because they don't WATCH now. Does the NFL have the brains to try it?! They had the poor judgment to try THIS abortion. Now it's time to try something that would WORK.
