Trey Thomas, Gettysburg basketball: Thomas shot 9-for-9 and scored 20 points in a 62-36 win over James Buchanan. He also had 16 points in an 86-51 win over Big Spring and posted 12 points and 10 rebounds in a 49-44 loss to Susquehanna Township.
Levi Witmer, Spring Grove wrestling: Witmer pinned both opponents he faced in the opening two rounds of the District 3 Class AAA Team Wrestling Championships, the first in 1:23 and the second in 2:41.
Nick Trish, Hanover basketball: Trish scored a game-high 27 points, including three 3s in an 82-59 win over Biglerville. He also had a game-high 24 points and three 3-pointers in a win vs. Delone.
PJ McClane, York Suburban basketball: McClane scored 21 points including five three-pointers in a 90-50 win over Littlestown, in a night where he also went 4-for-5 from the free throw line. McClane also scored 15 points in an 87-49 win over Littlestown, and 17 points in 72-49 loss to Steelton-Highspire.
Kevin Rice, West York basketball: Rice scored a game-high 23 points in a 72-60 win over Northeastern. He also had 12 points in a 71-58 victory over Kennard-Dale.
Paul Martello, York Catholic basketball: The junior, who is recovering from a dislocated thumb, didn't miss a shot while scoring 19 points in a win vs. Biglerville.
