Whining would imply that I actually care which song wins. I don't. I didn't think The Goof Off was among the top 3 of the episode either, but at least it wasn't bland with cookie cutter lyrics like Make a Wish. You on the other hand are clearly perturbed as evidenced by your use of expletives and caps.

Make a Wish is pretty good but it doesn't deserve to be so high in the poll, especially considering that the rest of songs are shiny gems, i also can't believe the Super Duper Party Pony is so low in the list, although is short, is excellent and fits so perfectly to Weird Al style.
i preffered The Goof Off, because of "dale dale dale no pierdas el tino..."

Why the heck is "Make a Wish" in second place? It was rather generic and not as engaging or original as the other songs.
Make a wish is the worst! why is it doing so good?? what's wrong with people, the Diamond Tiara singing solo scene, was more elaborate than the whole make a wish song

Why is party planner in 2nd last people? similar to smile smile smile thematically, pretty decent lyrically (Pinkie's lament suffers in this area), happy upbeat tone, great crowd chorus and got pinkie being nice not completely random like in some other songs (goof off). Make a wish? Seriously? It's EqG pop crap all over again.
@Mojo All of the tasteless people voted for Make a Wish, and everyone else was divided by all of the decent songs of the episode.

The only reason why Pinkie's Lament is not the top with 50+ %, is because people don't love Pinkie enough.

Of COURSE the pop-sounding song "Make A Wish" is in second. Dang, people are so unoriginal these days with their love for pop music.
I personally liked Pinkie the Party Planner. Just nicely done... But then, Pinkie's Lament was also really good.
Make a wish should have been longer. I loved it's upbeat feel.

My guess as to why Make a Wish has so many votes is that it was more different from the others. In my opinion though, it was a terrible, trite, and repetitive song.
For some reason I associate Make a Wish with people who think prom is the most important moment of their lives.
I'm glad Pinkie's Lament is doing okay, but I like me some Party Pony. Goof off? Didn't stick in my mind much. I'm sure it was fine.

Make a Wish came in a fairly close second to The Goof Off for me. It just had a bit of every good thing - you know, typical polka. Weird Al singing a previous pony song, and Pinkie singing so determinedly in Spanish... Yeah.
Make a Wish has so much obvious remixing potential (which is the first thing I thought when I heard it), but it's so short. Has anyone mashed it up with This Is Our Big Night, yet? Please do. That would sound amazing.
