Rarity didn't act like Applejack at all while Applejack pulled it off so much better, probably because she had a bit of experience from Manehattan. So this time my vote goes to Applejack. Sorry Rarity, I still love you of course. ^^
Applejack was even more beatiful than usual in that outfit.
She is already beautiful naturally, even the animators had a hard time trying to tease her in slowmotion while bucking apples.
I had a really hard time deciding on this one. I don't think I could stand either one if they were "stuck" as their alternate selves. I was really hoping for a "neither" button to appear. Although Rari...hick?...neck?...billy? was hilarious, I don't think I could stand that horrible "southern" accent for the rest of time. I had to settle on Applejack because at least she maintained a shred of her real self. Though if she really was stuck as a "Trend setting Fashionista" that would mean there would be two of them. I love Rarity, but two of her would be WAY too much.
I voted for AJ, of course :) I prefer it, when they're who they are, but Applejack acting like Rarity was absolutely hilarious XD
Having friends who reminds me of Rarity and Applejack is seems with my experience from them that Rarity's imitation was very offensive, yet there was barely any complaints about that with Applejack. Perhaps that's because Applejack had Manehattan training while Rarity had nothing of that with farming/country. I think Applejack did a better imitation than Rarity. Even though Rarity's my favorite pony (Applejack's second) I had to vote Applejack in this one, but I'd rather have Rarity being Rarity and Applejack being Applejack like it is. Rarity acted nothing like Applejack. Applejack nailed it better, but wasn't really Rarity either.

Yes, we realize Rarity's "farmpony cringeworthiness" was supposed to be funny. The only problem being that it wasn't actually funny. Thiessen doesn't understand Rarity, and he never has. She's been BADLY flanderized, since he took over and this episode is deliberately writing her out of character for laughs. Even her "yes, indeedy-doodle" line is straight from the Simpson's character Ned Flanders. Look up "flanderization" on tvtropes.

Seeing comments from these flank-offended otherpones at Tabitha's acting ability is quite amusing to me.

Guys? You *do* realize that Farmpony Rarity's cringe-worthiness was completely intentional and played for laughs, right?

Neither, honestly. Just no... While the episode turned out better than I thought it would, that farm-girl Rarity was just - as I've been describing it - CRINGE-worthy. I don't care if it's for a crush or not, it really seemed very out of character. And Applejack being okay with a "fru-fru" dress like that is out of character for her, too. (I know it was just for Rarity's sake, but at the same time, she wore it for the big event in Ponyville afterward. *rolls eyes*)
Honestly, if I ever hear Rarity say "Yes indeedy-doodle" again, I'm gonna flip a lizard.
If I HAD to pick one that had to stay there, it'd be Applejack's alter, because seeing Rarity as she was makes me wanna throw a brick through Hasbro's window. :C
This episode was just a waste of my valuable time...., It's annoying, It's offensive, and It's one of the worst episodes ever, and I do mean ever made.

Neither. I want to see neither of them ever again. This was an awful episode. It was cringeworthy, predictable, and poorly written. It yet again makes a mockery of the character Rarity used to be. Worse, bad examples are being given here about how to act. Rarity's treatment of Spike, and Spike's pathetic displays of head over hooves obliviousness are NOT examples of conduct we want to be exposing young girl too. Faust would be horrified. This is pretty much the opposite of anything she intended.
As much as I loved the god-tier level of cringe comedy that Rarity the Farmpony provided... Applejewel the Fashionista is just... just... holy crap. I know that we've known it for a while now, but when Applejack cleans herself up. she looks freaking AMAZING.

Rarity is my 3rd favorite Mane 6 Pony, but I think her country accent was terrible, so I voted for Applejack!
Farmpony Rarity. A girl roleplaying to impress you is pretty sexy, and that messy hair. Tres magnifique! Plus all her rule 34 has a nice Elly May vibe.

@Kicks_McGee That's kind of sad. It's a lesser of 2 evils poll though. I picked AJ because I wouldn't be able to put up with Rarity like that. If the altered pony were going to disappear from the show so that we wouldn't have to be annoyed by them, then I'd have picked Rarity.

Applejack can pull off being a fashionista quite well actually. It surprises me how badly she did in 3/13 (but then that always kind of did rankle me a bit).
Rarity only brings a valley girl/southern cross accent to the table. You don't want to see her spa bill from after just a few days of trying to be AJ.

this was one of my favourite things about this episode. applejack is way better at acting like rarity than the other way around
I don't want either, but Rarity's accent was so annoying that I have to go with AJ.
For this particular poll, it was pretty unanimous for me: Applejack. In my opinion, Rarity was trying just a "little" too hard to be a country-bumpkin. Course I can give her credit for the effort, but really what was it all for? Just to impress some guy that doesn't share the same feelings you do? Now that to me is just asking the fans to do a "On My Own" PMV video featuring these characters. Now as for the "big" reason voting for Applejack, I've seen this chick attempt to be sophisticated way back in Season One and that one time she dressed like a Princess for a sleepover. And there is absolutely no denial that she looked beautiful with the attire in this episode even if she only meant to prove a point. Though if I can give additional credit for Rarity, I always figured she looked better with her mane down regardless. But to put this explanation to rest, my vote goes to Applejack.
