Is the $2500 fairground rental fee for the Veterans Stand Down fair?

I can't believe Mike Hashasaki is allowed to run the fair board decisions, just as he ran the Republican
Party almost out of the county. I have seen him at county meetings, and can't believe that a pompous
autocrat like him has this much authority. He does not own the fairgrounds property, the buildings or
    anything related.
To turn on Billy, whom I respect and volunteered with, is a travesty. Billy worked relentlessly to make the stand downs happen. More importantly, how can the county allow this disservice to its veterans? Sanders county is a conservative, patriotic county, and Mike should be stripped of all authority. He acts like Huey Long, or the new mayor of New York, wanna be dictators.

He like so many in this country need a reckoning, some of us still love our country and its veterans who
    unselfishly defended it!

I think that if Plains ever wants the Stand Down to return, they need to replace the fair board manager. He sounds like a spoiled little boy who didn't get his way. Billy has done nothing but good for the veterans.
I was one of the volunteers last year & I saw how hard he worked to help the vets in the NW. How many hundreds of hours he put into this.
The fair board should be ashamed of themselves. The only ones getting hurt are the 100's of vets that depend on the free goods the Stand Down offers to them. What a way to thank them for their service.
Shame on you fair board! I hope you are proud of yourselves!
