What's the Farthest You've Gone for Pizza?
My freezer (or maybe my fridge, if I've managed to hang on to some leftovers); I like to stay within sight of my couch when at all possible.
Does it count when the pizza is the one doing the traveling? I almost always order in.
The slice joint around the corner marks the current boundaries of my pizza world.
Anywhere decent within my neighborhood (or near my office) merits regular visits from me.
I've crisscrossed my city…pizza downtown, uptown, crosstown - you name it.
That place in the suburbs? Been there. The hot new joint just over the state line? Absolutely. I'll push my limits when it's for great pies.
I may theoretically have been "visiting my family", but that flight across the country was definitely fueled by a love of the slice.
My entire concept of travel is framed around pizza, and I've made it my goal to globalize my palate - Italy, Japan, Brazil…the depths of my love know no bounds.
