Insensitive and ill–conceived parish closures and mergers / consolidations of faith communities with too little, if any, too late in terms of anticipatory bereavement support before closure, and grief support after closure by the diocese
Disintegration of the family by the refusal of women to live their biological and ontological imperatives
Installation by indifferent pastors of poorly credentialed lay ministers for reasons other than exemplary spiritual or Christian life
Excessive power (not authority) of the so – called “gatekeepers”
Confusion generated by heterodox or inconsistent teaching by clergy or religious
Faith communities are perceived by some as being unwelcoming and exclusive, driving the hungry away
The blurring or outright obliteration of natural gender and gender roles
Pastors are no longer perceived as servant leaders, but just more egocentric, ambitious narcissists on a power trip
Poor or inept preaching skills
Vague or ambiguous double-talk by church leaders
Pastoral centers are becoming partisan feudal fiefdoms masquerading as departments
