Failure of the bishops to recognize spiritual gifts and skills, and overemphasis of politics and money
Pastors are no longer perceived as servant leaders, but just more egocentric, ambitious narcissists on a power trip
Overall ignorance of faith tradition among the faithful
Installation by indifferent pastors of poorly credentialed lay ministers for reasons other than exemplary spiritual or Christian life
Ineffectual teaching or defense of the Magisterium
Excessive outreach and deficient inreach
Too many social programs, too few spiritual programs
The blurring or outright obliteration of natural gender and gender roles
Failure of the bishops to manage women religious advancing feminist themes and their male clergy and lay supporters
Failure of Church leadership (bishops, lay theologians, etc.) to clearly teach and elaborate the Scriptural, Traditional, and natural bases for magisterial positions relating to the lives of the faithful
Failure of clergy and lay religious (nuns, brothers, etc.) to defend the Church from attacks from within and outside
Failure of the bishops to discipline errant or heterodox theologians
Ineffectual teaching or defense of the Magisterium
Propagation of error and superstition in the Church
Release into the community of the faithful of poorly trained ordained (deaconate) and lay ministers
Faith communities are perceived by some as being unwelcoming and exclusive, driving the hungry away
Indifference to pastoral and spiritual care
The accelerated blurring or outright obliteration of natural male and female gender roles
Vague or ambiguous double-talk by church leaders
Excessive concessions made to granting the mandatum to heterodox theologians
Disintegration of the family by the refusal of women to live their biological and ontological imperatives
The Church is becoming exclusive and assuming a private club atmosphere
Clergy and lay religious (nuns, brothers) set poor examples for the faithful
Protestantization (liberalization, dumbing down) of ritual and liturgy
Failure to teach current Church doctrine and policy
Insensitive and ill–conceived parish closures and mergers / consolidations of faith communities with too little, if any, too late in terms of anticipatory bereavement support before closure, and grief support after closure by the diocese
Over utilization of female parish life directors or administrators to the exclusion and alienation of competent male parish officers
Poor formation of teaching ministers (including lay and deaconate)
