    hey..

why are so many of the song so down-tempo and cry baby in the morning? In general it would be better to have some more upbeat songs in the a.m

    Hey guys

Thanks for the suggestions. The songs are selected based on our Radio 2 Drive and Radio 2 Morning playlist. Obviously not every song on our playlist can be included in the top 20 so there is a small amount of imput from our radio programmers. As for the numbers -- we do the math every week, crunching the number of plays and sales for each of the tunes based on national sales and spins and of course VOTES. The votes are crucial because lots of this great music just isn't heard on other stations so the votes really make a difference.

Sorry for the long winded response. And thanks again for being part of the R2 20 -- now go vote!

How about adding Clare Bowen's cover "Love's Ring of Fire" to the mix? ...My 2 cents or whatever it's worth.

I'd vote for the Kathryn Calder's Younger Than We've Ever Been played on Radio 2 this week. How are the songs selected for the top 20?

Golden hour by Sam Roberts would be an excellent song to hear on the top twenty. It's from his newest album and I strongly believe that it deserves its chance to reach the top of the countries best charts.
