If mass transit were made readily available in the Lake Travis/Westlake area, which forms would you use on a regular basis?

I would rather drive to Houston than fly for the same reasons I would rather drive to Austin than ride. Once I get there I need to get around with the greatest amount of flexibility and I need to return when I am done, not when the transport is leaving. Mass transport options will only address these challenges to the degree that it supports utilization of the shared resources, not to the degree that it supports the users.

This area is developing rapidly and there needs to be a solution for the constant gridlock on 620/71. Most of the new residentsto the area are commuters.

Living out here in Western Travis County, we are largely left out of the mass transportation loop. 620 and 71 are gridlocked during rush hour, and quick access to major highways doesn't even exist. We love living in the area, but with commutes both to downtown Austin and Round Rock daily, we make a big sacrifice on time travelling in and out of the area. We need to meet the rising number of residents to the area with smooth transportation options. I would LOVE to see a MetroRail service from Lakeway/Bee Cave straight into downtown, and secondarily a MetroRail service to the airport - I know I'm not alone in this!
