Do you think Stephen Colbert was the best choice to replace David Letterman?

Steve Colbert will likely do a terrific job. But I had three others on my short list that I thought would also do well. Now, the criteria I set up may be unorthodox, but it seems to me (and I am 63 years of age) that someone under 40 would be a great change of pace to after hours network TV. Particularly at CBS. But I did make a list of varying ages, just in case. My over 40 short list was LL Cool J, Ellen Degeneres, Wayne Brady, Jennifer Lopez, and Steve Martin. But my under 4o list- the one I think is more important- might surprise some. Kerry Washington, Christina Aguilera, and -my #1 pick: Seth Rogen. Capturing the younger set of American adults I think would be the best way to go if CBS is serious about challenging Jimmy Fallon, who is one of the more talented and versatile performers in recent history. Too often in the past, with Leno and Letterman hosting, the younger performers looked more like they were being greeted by their father or great uncle. Get young. The future becomes you. Colbert's not a bad choice. I just don't think he's the best.
