Ella is an exceptional student athlete who embodies the definition of drive, commitment, and determination! This young lady deserves recognition for her tireless efforts, everyone who casts a vote for her will reap the benefits of her continued success!!!
Ella is our granddaughter and we couldn't be prouder of her no matter what she does. But we can't help but admire her and all the other competitors at the Class C level. Class C is difficult terrain because there are so many schools but so few competitors in each. This is especially true in Turner. We watch you compete with an enthusiasm and determination that compensates for your lack of numbers, and Ella has demonstrated the epitome of that enthusiasm, determination, and love of the game that makes Class C so special. She runs and plays her heart out no matter what she is competing in and always challenges herself to be better. She would be a great choice for athlete of the week. We love you Ella.
Ella is not only an amazing athlete, she is equally amazing as a person.... I am proud to call her my niece. Her drive and determination comes from her love of sports and her willingness to be disciplined and work hard. Ella's success also comes from the love and support she gets from the Turner community. A small town always helps raise everyone's children; there is just something to be said about a small town. Vote for Ella Mae Billmayer!!!!!
I was fortunate enough to coach Ella's grandfather at Hogeland HIgh School in two Eastern Divisional basketball tournaments in 1960 and 1961. The Big Flat kids were always known for their hard work and extra effort. While I have never seen her compete, it is obvious that she must have that same kind of determination. It is great to see a young lady from a small school have that kind of success. Best of luck to Ella in this contest and later in the state track meet.
Ella is my niece and a very special young lady. We are so proud of the hard work she is putting into her running and wish her the very best this track season! Good luck Ella and keep smashing those records.
Ella is my granddaughter and I am very proud of her. She is a loving, caring young lady, an excellent student , evolved in many extracurricular activities and also plays basketball for the Turner Tornadoes. I am very proud of all the Turner students they all work hard on the farms where they live and at school where they all participate so they can even have basketball teams. Ella is one of only 15 high school students at Turner and I wish her lots of luck on being student athlete of the week. Thank you everyone who votes for her.
