How do you not know what "shorn" means? It means "shaved". You shear a sheep for is wool.

Technically, the hair next to the hoof around the fetlock is called 'feathering', and this is a breed characteristic. Allot of draught breeds like shire and percherons have feathered fetlocks, but quarterhorses and arabians don't.
The fetlock is just the name of the joint above the hoof.

I didn't know what fetlocks were before now so I used google translator, apparently it doesn't have a word in my language so I seached for meaning via google itself. I pick shorn when it comes to MLP so that's what I voted, but some styles fits unshorn more. Just not the canon MLP styles so far, though it would be interesting if let's say G5 style fit unshorn fetlocks.
Look in the comments, the most just say chose "what the heck is fetlocks" because they couldn't chose otherwise, I also find this... rather.. hm.. I choose "what the heck are fetlocks" too, not because I don't know what it is, if it what looks better? Or worse? And why this poll, just wanted to participate in this..
Ps. I know what "fetlocks" are thanks to Google, and the aprove of other sites too..

I find it ironic that a fandom that is based on candy colored horses doesn't know what a fetlock is. Also, just a fun fact, big mac has unshorn fetlocks.

Who cares about fetlocks, shorn or unshorn no one gives a FUCK.

I know what fetlocks are, but I have no idea what shorn/unshorn even means, so... no choice but to pick the "what the heck is a fetlock" option. :|

I can't believe how many people don't know what Google is.

Wait, which one is the normal one we see in the show? Is this about the tufts of fur on the hoofs or about weather the hoofs are covered in fur? Because that changes the answer. Can't we just say, "I like how the ponies look in the show" vs "I like them when they have more realistic horse features"?
That would be far less confusing.

Where's the "I don't care" option? Or are we just using 'what the heck is a fetlock' as that?

Well, Luna clearly likes unshorn so I had to go with that.. http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2011/196/c/6/unshorn_fetlocks_by_nullh-d3ryg67.jpg

To everyone who asks how people don't know what fetlocks is: Not everyone have English as their native language and some words are new to them, I didn't know what "fetlocks" was before a year ago. There may be other reasons for natives English speakers, but I don't know as I'm not one.
And my gosh people. How do you not know what a fetlock is? Jeez!

My word, how scandalous to be gadding about with fetlocks unshorn.

This is an unfair poll, because there should be a 'Depends on the Pony' option. for example Applejack, Unshorn. Rarity, Shorn. Rainbow Dash, Unshorn, Twilight, Shorn. ect.

Wow, I had no idea so many people don't know what a fetlock is. If you don't, they are the tufts of fur by a pony's hooves. Like for example this Fluttershy drawing has unshorn fetlocks. https://derpicdn.net/img/2013/3/24/278323/full.png
Shorn fetlocks is just the smooth pony hooves we usually see in the show.
