No it shouldn't be legal. The people of Montana voted for the amendment. If same sex couple have a problem with how the majority of Montana citizens voted the they should know that the boarders are open and they are free to go to a state that allows same sex marriage.

It is really sad to me that people still think their opinions or religion are enough reason to deny someone equal rights. There are plenty of things I don't like (organized religion, onions ) that doesn't mean I would want to deny other people the right to worship or eat onions. I just choose not to. If you don't agree with gay marriage that's fine you don't have to be in one! It's coming whether people like it or not:)

I agree with Hillary Clinton when she said "I think marriage is as a marriage has always been, between a man and a woman." We voted on this and passed a Constitutional amendment defining marriage this way. We don't need some judge overruling the will of the people just because someone doesn't like it. Gay people have the same rights as straight, but they shouldn't have MORE; changing the definition of marriage to accommodate them is giving them higher rights and thus, not equality under the law.

Everyone should have the right to marry the person they love. We are guaranteed equal rights under the Constitution. I am proud of Governor Bullock for his stand on this issue. Equality for all!

I voted no- the people of Montana voted no years ago and still they are being told that their vote doesn't count or mean anything. What part of no do people not understand?

I'm bothered by the wording of the question. How about "Do you believe in marriage equality for all loving, committed couples?"

Everyone thinks that gay marriage is going to ruin the sanctuary of marriage, yet people can have multiple wives or multiple divorces? EQUALITY RIGHTS FOR ALL!
FYI gays were here before now, they just went unheard of.

Legally discriminating against certain types of people is simply a continuation of the bullying we are supposedly trying to eliminate from our schools.

Absolutely not.
Marriage is between a man and woman. It has served us well for centuries.
They can call their living together anything they want but it will never be a marriage!
In 2011 the Montana voters showed that loud and clear!
If they want to sue for something, why don't they sue for something that will benefit us all-- GMO labeling on our food!

The glitches seem to be going away and the site is getting easier to navigate. I wish the feature that indicated "most popular" and "most commented" were still available. Beyond that, good job.

In 2014 this should be a "Duh" Question.
