Luna's voice sounded like Celestias. Celestias voice was WAAAAAY off. Twilight was Sunset shimmer. Cadance had the grace of a pretty pink alicorn. I loved Cadances. My #2 is Luna

@Anonymouse It's not really hate, more annoyance. This Luna fanboy craze has been going on since season 1 episode 2! Much of that wasn't even from her at all but headcannon, of Luna being the victim of her mean older sister sending her to the moon. It has only gotten bigger and more annoying. I like Luna, I hate many of her fans. She had a good voice so I can see why people would vote for her. But when she has almost 50% of this poll, and will win every poll she is on, can you see why so many are tired of the over representation Luna as compared to let say Celestia, who has been on the show just as long as Luna has?

I'm not hating on anyone or anything, but as soon as I saw this poll I thought "It's going to be luna," and I don't even remember that dumb song. And lo and behold, there she is. After going back and watching it again, (well, more of just skimmed, but I heard them all sing) No one really stood out. That's probably why Luna has such a huge lead. People just... like Luna. It's a fact of life.

Guys, stop the hate. Maybe people are voting Luna because they, idk, thought Luna was the best singer. Yes, maybe a few just voted her cause "OMG LUNA MUST VOTE HER" or something but not everyone. Just because Luna is winning doesn't mean, "le gasp! Luna is winning! How horrid! We must complain and hate on her and those who voted for her!"
Some people probably stopped and thought for a second before voting, or listened to the song again, and came up with their answers. I did this, for instance, and have written my personal choices below

I think that Twilight was the best singer- or Celestia. I really can't choose between the two! Anyway, I don't vote Twilight as best because I think she is the best princess; instead because I thought she was the best singer. Not all of you bust most people voted Luna or Cadence because they are either thier favorite princess or because it is the first time they sang. People are so exited about the fact that thier favorite princess sang that they don't notice that the question is "Which Princess was best singer" not "Which Princess is your favorite"!

I have to be honest. As much as I love Luna, as a character and in general, the singing was not as good as it could have been. Don't get me wrong, it was still amazing and I want to hear more of it, but ultimately it seemed like she was having issues with staying in character while singing. It sounded as if she kept slipping into Rarity's voice, and is threw her performance as Luna off.
In the end, I had to vote for Celestia. Her past performance in MMC was amazing, as well as the live rendition she gave us at last Bronycon. I was in tears, between the adorable sweetness of the little girl she was singing to, and her own heartwarming voice, I am not ashamed to say I cried. And in this, the second singing role, she was just as amazing.
TL;DR Celestia did the best this round, but I still demand MOAR LUNA!

You know, I just love being called immature, hypocrit, whiny and all that good stuff just because I'm a Brony or in this case just voted on a poll. I've only commented on one of these before but I take some time to read through all these comments anyway, just because I do enjoy to hear the different opinions and the subject matter. I'll say, I do not get the reasoning behind some of these comments. You are tired of Luna winning every poll? Well, there is a reason for that for the most part she is a very popular character, she even beat Derpy in popularity. But that's popularity, this is the singing voice of the character, and I would like to ask some of you to cut other people some slack, while I personally do not find the voice to be the best of the four it is still a pretty great voice. Yea, there are probably some who voted Luna because they saw her as "best princess" but I bet it is the with the others for some people, and while I voted Cadance on this poll, I actually do consider Luna to the next best singer of the four. We have to remember that different people enjoy different things and even though you may not agree with their opinion, or musical sense in this case, you can atleast try and tolerate them and their opinion.
As a side note, why does it matter who wins? They sounded amazing each and everyone of them, it was astonishing to listen to., and you shouldn't feel any different if your favorite singer of the princesses is the least or most voted of the four, it just means that are some who agrees or disagrees with on the matter, it doesn't mean that your opinion have to change.
I thoroughly liked Luna's style of singing. People are just getting butthurt that THEIR favorite princess isn't winning. I may be a bit biased, considering Luna is best princess in my opinion, but the way she sang really fit her. Bronies can stop being a bunch of stupid hypocrites and just accept some of us actually like Kazumi Evans as a singer. And to those who said to take Luna of the poll, it wouldn't be fair because Luna sang in that song, too. It could be just me, but Twilight's voice seems the cleanest and most spry to listen to. I enjoyed "Love Is In Bloom" immensely, but the song the princesses sang just didn't "click" in my ears. All the princesses sounded too operatic.

Never liked Twilights singing voice much. Luna was alright, but not as good as Celly and Cadance, along with the fact that it sounds identical to Rarity's singing voice *cough* Kazumi Evans. Cadance has a very nice singing voice, glad it's finally returned after This Day Aria. Celestia, however, has the best singing voice. It seemed kind of like a reprise of Celestias Ballad, and considering the aurora lights in the background when she started singing, I think it was supposed to be like a throwback to that.

This was hard for me, because I love Luna's voice but I thought it sounded too much like Rarity's... and while Rarity definitely has the best singing voice, I think the VA should try to make her singing for Luna be clearly distinct from singing for Rarity--if that makes sense. And I love Twilight's singing voice, but Cadance's is just a teeny bit better I think. We also never get to hear it, and that's sad because it really is lovely.
In the end, I voted for Cadance.

Celestia sings like Luna usually acts in this song; quiet and reserved. Cadence's voice was amazing in this song; she ended off both her singing parts by hitting notes like she was swinging a tire iron. Cadence may not do much in the show, but that pony can sing

I thought you were afraid of royal missions! Everytime we talk about her princesshood, she's being a brat about being an alicorn. Their are many that would KILL to have her place. And although I said Nicole Oliver style of singing was flat, Rebecca Shoichet… I am disappoint.

For crap's sakes, stop putting Luna on polls. You've already said that any time Luna is on a poll she wins automatically. All because of the "darkness and rebels are SEW KEWL!" kids. No one even bothers to consider what Celestia's been through. No one bothers to think nicely of her. Her votes, fan art, comics, songs, and videos are nothing compared to the numbers Luna gets. If she appears in a fanfiction it's usually to be incompetent so Luna can be '2awsum'.

I voted for Luna, not just because Luna. I voted for her because I preferred her voice in the song through the ENTIRE SONG. Twilight sang like Twilight, Celly sang like Celly, although a bit quiet, Cadance was good in some spots, not so much in others. Luna, I feel, was consistently good throughout the song.

Luna? Really? She sounded great and all, but she kinda sounded like Rarity. Kazumi Evans maybe should've tried to sound a little different (if Ashleigh Ball can do it, then she can, too.) or give her a different singing voice altogether. Like others have said, just because this was her first time singing doesn't mean she was the best singer, esp. if they sound like another character.
It was a tough choice between Celestia and Cadance, but I really love Celestia's voice, she sounded really beautiful in Celestia's Ballad. Nicole is a great singer! And Celestia just doesn't get enough love compared to her more popular younger sister.
I wish people would vote fairly and not vote just because Luna is in it, but I"m probably asking too much. >.>

If she appears in a fanfiction it's usually to be incompetent so Luna can be '2awsum'.
They won't even let her have the singing poll, which she obviously won. Twilight was basically just speaking the whole time. Luna = Rarity. Cadence had ONE line that was amazing. Have people already forgotten Celestia's Ballad? It was fantastic. Nicole Oliver sings like an angel. Moved me to tears.

First of all : they were all awesome. Celestia was perfect, Twilight was great as always, and Luna is FINALLY singing! But she really sounds like Rarity. But if there is one character I didn't expected to sing, this is obviously Cadance. Her amazing voice was in harmony with the other princesses, and GOSH she sings so well! Cadance is best singer princess.
I voted for Luna, not just because Luna. I voted for her because I preferred her voice in the song through the ENTIRE SONG. Twilight sang like Twilight, Celly sang like Celly, although a bit quiet, Cadance was good in some spots, not so much in others. Luna, I feel, was consistently good throughout the song.
Also, Tabitha St. Germain doesn't do the singing for Rarity and Luna, it's Kazumi Evans.

Of course everybody's gonna say Luna, just because she's their favorite princess. But really....Nicole Oliver's singing voice is the best, in my opinion, having been convinced since first hearing her sing in MMC. It's good to hear her sing again. So, I have to say Celestia.

Of all the voice actors Tabitha St. Germain has the best singing voice. Go listen to, "Art of the Dress" again if you don't believe me.

Honestly, why do you even put Luna on any Poll. The Autistic Luna Fans will just flood it because it has her name on here.

Luna? Really? She sounded great and all, but she kinda sounded like Rarity. Kazumi Evans maybe should've tried to sound a little different (if Ashleigh Ball can do it, then she can, too.) or give her a different singing voice altogether. Like others have said, just because this was her first time singing doesn't mean she was the best singer, esp. if they sound like another character.
It was a tough choice between Celestia and Cadance, but I really love Celestia's voice, she sounded really beautiful in Celestia's Ballad. Nicole is a great singer! And Celestia just doesn't get enough love compared to her more popular younger sister.
I wish people would vote fairly and not vote just because Luna is in it, but I"m probably asking too much. >.>
Come on guys, the same VA who sings for Rarity is still like the best singer compared to the rest of the princesses even though this is Luna's first time singing. Tabitha has a lovely voice.
Cadance by far. Luna's voice is swell and all, but the part "Soon will come the day it turns around" brings me to tears every time.
Luna. Mainly because I like her voice the best, plain and simply put. She didn't get to sing enough I felt though. Similarly to how I felt there wasn't enough Twilight this season.
