Would this extended day include faculty meetings and the mandatory tutoring we do now? Because my day is 7:20-4:00pm now!

We need to provide a fuller day structure as parents withdraw from their responsibilities but I already do 50-60 hours/week to deliver 25 lessons. I am not ""Boxer" from Animal Farm
Unless the curriculum were varied enough to be FUN, I think this would be a disaster, creating more stressed out and exhausted children. If there are activities kid might find fun like: playing chess, drama club, sports, music, gardening, etc. i.e. non-traditional subjects, it might be a possibility, giving more flexibility to the parents who have to work. It's a very thorny issue.
