Did ABC handle Eric Hill's Bachelorette departure properly?

I think that Andi became too defensive and overly dramatic. I feel that she should have listened to Eric and discussed it in a mature way. I like Andi and like the way she has handled herself so far, except now we know she can't take any criticism. I was embarrassed for her the way she went back and went off to the other bachelors. I don't think Andi should have been allowed to talk about Eric. I would have rather heard from the other bachelors.

Eric was truly the prize of this season's collection of males. His comment about
Andi was right on the mark. Her responses are always canned and gushingly so
sweet. Her anger with him gave us a true look at her when the mask comes down
and things don't go her way and she cannot rely on acting like a "TV actress." I
totally agree with Linda's comment.

Agree with Gale. I was actually kind of shocked at how quickly Andi became "insulted" and started lashing out. I didn't see the original Batchelor show where she apparently gave to someone who deserved it, but this was a nice guy trying to clear the air, and IMO, she treated him badly, and very emotionally. Exhausted or not, I consider that behavior a red flag for the other guys: she's delightful when she's "handling" people, but not so much when she really has to interact.

I can't help but feel had Andi listened to what he was trying to say, and kept him on the show, he might still be alive. True, his wording was poor choice, but I felt he was trying to be sincere.
