I don't hate the Cowboys. I just don't care anymore. The only constant in 18 years of mediocrity is Jerry Jones!!! This team will never be better than 8 & 8 until Jerry sells the team or dies! The poor die hard fans are at the mercy of J.J. and as long as he is making big bucks off them there will be no change. If he was as smart as he thinks he is, and had enough knowledge of the game, we would be OK but his ego is enormous! I would love to care about them again but I don't see it happening any time soon,

Dallas has to commit to the run period. Not only will this take pressure off of Romo but, a young defense as well. Demarco Murray is a top running back give him the ball. The offensive line has improved. The Cowboys are 11-0 when Murray has 15 or 20 carries a game. ENOUGH SAID!!!!

Think about it!!!! When Jerry Jones took the team over they were great. Jimmy Johnson won the Super Bowl riding on Tom Landry. Since Jerry Jones took over ALL WE ARE GETTING ISBAD FOOTBALL.As long as Jerry Jones hires a GGOOD GENERAL MANAGER AND COACHOD General Manager and a Good coach and stays the hell out of football WE WILL NEVER WIN ANOTHER SUPER BOWL......Jerry Jones own the team and stay out of football....HIRE A GOOD GENERAL MANAGER AND COACH AND WATCH US WIN AGAIN!!!!!!

Dallas can't perform with high expectations. As a Cowboys fan, I don't mind being ranked low in a...wait for it...preseason ranking. Come on now, the only ranking that matters is the one taken right after the Super Bowl. Every single year there is one winner and 31 losers; if you disagree with that, your favorite team probably doesn't have a winning tradition/expectation like Dallas.

Having been a Cowboys fan for 45 years, I truly believe that the Boys will be 6-10 this season. Jason will get fired in December, Maybe even November after the Eagles blow them out on Thanksgiving. Too bad though because Garret is not a bad coach. He has a bad GM. Hey Jerry why don't you fire yourself?
Like most fans I want to see the Cowboys do well, however I don't believe they can get to the Super Bowl this year. If the defense can avoid the injuries they had last year and the offense performs as expected they have a good chance to get into the playoffs. By the way an 8-8 record is exactly what the NFL wants from all teams. It would make it more "exciting" and all teams would have a chance at the end of the season.

Thank You Ed and Kevin, forget those nay sayers that aren't even true fans of the Boys. They can only go up from last year defense disaster and you may remember that we finished 5-1 in the Division. Quit been a hater and give them some credit and perhaps some words of encouragement. They are a good team with bad luck, but so are the rest of the teams that don't win the Super Bowl if you think about them. Good Luck Cowboys, hope you prove them wrong.

Ed, I hope your correct n going 11-5 this year. I've been a Cowboy fan for over 40 years and I was extremely disappoined when Jerry didn't take Manziel! He's what they needed as we know what Romo has done in all the previous years even healthy much less after two back surgerys in less that two years! They will never win a super bowl with him as he always makes a critical mistake at the end of the game and ends up losing every time! Come on Jerry how many more stupid decisions can you make! example getting rid of the best coach best coach the Cowboys ever had and then getting rid of Jimmy Johnson. It's time to realize you need to step back and get a real coach and GM!

I am a fan, and they had the worst defense last year. If they go 8-8 they will be lucky. Just being realistic.
I have been a Dallas Cowboy true fan for years. They made me happy when they went to the Super Bowl in the 90's.i'm 72 years old I don't know how much longer I can wait for another Super Bowl. Hurry up and make me happy boys.

With all the doom and gloom of the pundits, I think the Cowboys are going to be the surprise of the NFL this year, especially if they commit to the run. The OL is much better than last year. The question mark is still the Defense. The injury to Lee is a blow, but Dallas has played without him before, he is injury prone. The Doomsday Defense my return to form this year. Melton and Lawrence coupled with Slevie et al. will provide a rotation that will keep everyone fresh. The DB's will step up, McClain will start in the middle. I think they will be on the field less than they were last year; stopping opponent's offense and creating more opportunity for the Dallas Offense. I believe they can go 11-5 this year and win the Division. They ARE capable. We shall see.
