Does modern architecture have a place in New Orleans?
Traditional architecture draws tourists to the Crescent City, so even new buildings should seem to be old.
There’s room for modern-style architecture so long as it’s mostly hidden in the historic cityscape.
Modern style architecture, just like neoclassical and colonial are part of New Orleans’ historic fabric.
Get over it New Orleans, we’ve romanticized the drafty, rickety old 19th century style long enough.
Architecture makes no difference to me.
