Does modern-style architecture have a place in New Orleans?
Modern-style architecture is plain and ugly and doesn't belong anywhere.
Modern-style architecture may be fine for other towns, but traditional architecture draws tourists to the Crescent City, so even new buildings should seem to be old.
There’s room for modern-style buildings so long as they are mostly hidden in the historic cityscape.
Modern-style architecture, just like neoclassical and colonial are part of New Orleans’ historic fabric.
I love mod. Get over it New Orleans, we’ve romanticized the drafty, rickety old 19th century buildings long enough.
