Service dogs with proper certification will be allowed to use the Walkway Waterfront Elevator.

I clicked 'yes' I'll use it before reading the article saying no pets will be allowed. My dog loves the walkway-she's fascinated by the water, loves the breeze, but at 9 years old with some arthritis she's usually already exhausted by the time we actually get to the bridge. So I thought the elevator would be a godsend. She's a therapy dog and attends classes periodically at Galleria --they allow her to use their elevator system. But if she can't use this one we'll continue entering the walkway from the Ulster side.
