Strange thing happened. The day after I received an email from GAME informing me they have reached their limited for preorders, project cars was available for preorder. I wont pretend I didn't jump out of bed and hot foot it to my computer, don't think my legs or my fingers moved so quick. With that being said, I have finally secured my PS4 Limited Edition copy of project cars. LuckyLAD.

PC on steam - all bonus cars, best looking with a decent graphics card and a price less than the regular version on consoles - ok no disk, but you will have to update anyway in order to play online, gone are the days were you really had a finished version of a game - sadly.
Wii U. this will be the only racing sim genre in Wii U. so i and many others will definitely get it, sooner or later.

I'm using Xone controller, and steering wheel. (Yes, console gamers can use keyboard and mouse, but the performace is just outstanding) (+we (PC users) have no fps limit so far...) I'm do not own hi-end pc. (i7 with GTX7860m)

With Thrustmaster being the only racing wheels that will work on the PS4, I'm getting this on the PC. I already have a primo racing wheel. I'm not investing another $1000 just to play it on the PS4. Plus there's a chance to play this with the Oculus Rift on PC. PC is the clear winner in my opinion.

I am totally excited for this game for the PS4. There have been very few times that a racing game can do that. Drive club I knew was more of an arcade type game but it had so many problems I took it back after the first week. The crew looks more of the same... maybe a little better. But nothing since Gran Tourismo has come out in quit some time that is really a good race game.

I buy the Wii U version. I was very disappointed when I heard that the Wii U version will be released after the other versions but after thinking about it... I still want this game and there is probably a good reason for the delay. The Wii U has very different hardware compared to other current gen consoles and a high qualitiy Wii U version is more important than a simultanious release.
I hope Slightly Mad also uses the additional time to add some features which take advantage of the GamePad. :)
The only thing that bothers me about Project Cars are the limited edition-only cars. Maybe the limted edition cars could be time exclusive and later on DLC or something like that but I really don't like that if you don't pre-order the Limited Editikn instantly, you will never ever be able to drive these cars.
By the way, I'm also not a fan of day one DLC (Modified Car Pack) but since you just want to give players an little incentive to pre-order the game and unlike the Limited Edition-only cars you will be able to BUY THEM LATER ON I'm at least ok with it.

Honestly, I have enough games to play and won't be buying this game for a while, probably when it is heavily discounted.
I like the F1, C9 and mk IV a lot. If you can't get them in the game at a later date I'll just save my money and skip the game.

PC version for 1 simple reason: I would have bought this for PS4... not having to d/c my laptop to hook up the HDMI to the big screen would have been nice, but some money grubbing jerk decided to make the Logitech Wheels incompatible with the new generation consoles. So my only options for console would be use the Dual Shock (not horrible), buy a $130 Thrustmaster non-force-feedback controller without a clutch pedal, or buy a $477 Thrustmaster controller with force-feedback but still no clutch pedal... Seriously? 2x the price of my G25 wheel to get less features and less quality? So I might GameFly it on PS4 to get a feel for the game, but if I buy it, it will be for PC simply so I can properly play a racing game without having to pay the price of another console just to get the same racing wheel experience I already own.

So, I thought the whole idea for this preorder stuff is to get some cashflow into the company. Why then, are you making it SO difficult to get hold off? I would gladly buy all your overpriced Ltd Editions and Premium stuff if I could, but golly, can't find it anywhere in Canada. Disappointed in this launch big time, and may just walk away and stick with Assetto Corsa.
