What happens to thrombotic debri following Fibrinolysis in STEMI ?
It breaks down partially and plugs the distal coronary artery
It is well dessicated , but still gets logged in microcircualtion
It is finely dissolved into microparticles and easily transit the micro circulation and rapidly exit through coronary sinus
In fact the debri is not purely thrombus .It includes Atheroemboli and lipids .Hence micro vascular bed is never cleared completley .
Clearance of the debri is a complex process determined by time , natural and pharmacological anticoagulation forces , the perfusion pressure ,
