While there is some blame that can be placed onto the shoulders of both Belichick and Brady, the bulk of the blame has to be leveled at Josh McDaniels, whose pitiful offensive game plans and pitiful play calling is the main reason the Pats look as bad as they do. Even during the best years of the Pats when McDaniels was calling the plays, he got far too much credit when, in fact, it was the defense, and the defensive coaching staff that made the patriots the power that they were. McDaniels, even then, got credit that he did not deserve. When he left the Pats, the rest of the NFL finally saw just how inept he was. Why the Pats brought him back is a mystery to me.

Pats have many probs. To me the trade of Mankins is the main prob. That front line has given Brady 4-9 secs to pass. Any pro QB can pick u apart with that time. This year, he gets 2-3 secs. No good. The offensive line hopefully will gel in the next few weeks. Then we shud see a much better offensive scheme and dome better games. If not, it's going to be a long , long season.

This been building for many years. Bill Belicheck has to many roles with the team. He needs to make a decision to be a coach or a general manager. I belive by doing both he has lost the ability to see what the team needs to win. He seems to be more concerned with making the owners happy than coaching the team.

The choices are too limited there needs to be one more: "management".
Continually getting Brady to renegotiate his contract on the auspices that you would bring in more/better talent and then not doing anything should get the blame.
Signing Danny "fragile" Amendola to all that money was a monsterous error. Trading Mankins huge mistake. Always thinking you are a step ahead of everybody because of the "Patriot way" another huge mistake.
I'm a lifelong Patriots fan but this act is getting tired. Give Brady weapons (Moss, Welker, etc) and a record setting offense is the result. Give Brady Amendola, Dobson, Thompkins and this is what you get.
