Shahid's Acting is good.. but story is based on Pakistan's Agenda.. Pakistan also use the same language for the Indian Army & Indian Government, And the "Haider" does the same. Indian Army is the best army in the world with the great humanity spirits. Indian Army is battling for the nation in Kashmir with great national spirits. "Haider" doesn't talk about human rights of Indian Army, but they are more concerned for the human rights of terrorist and separatist. Indian government must investigate the source of finance of "Haider", I doubt if "Haider" is financed from Separatist/Pakistanis sources.

Haider is a movie that makes your soul realize that bollywood can give movies with intense content and outstanding performances. Shahid was mind blowing. For me he deserves national award for his outstanding acting. Tabu was superb and kk menon looked to be a sweet poison. Cameos like Irrfan and Ashish vidharthi was well linked to the subject and both did a commendable job. Last but not the least shraddha looked sweet and her performance was superb. At the end Haider is a blockbuster!!

This movie is a gem....combines the beauty of Kashmir, sad truth of the people lives, great story, great actors and great acting. This movie may not collect heaps of money like mindless crap movies but this is what movies are all about. Well done vishal and team HAIDER!!! Shahid should win best male actor this time around. The movie talks of violence of the Indian army and government but in most of the violent scenes the innocent nice people are shown armed to the teeth and trained to kill 10s of army and police personnel single handed ? Are the army and police men not human beings and have no families, and their own trauma.
The main questions are 1) where is all the ammunition and training coming from; 2) Who do they want independence from, and 3) why are the separatist running away from democratic processes and insisting on so called plebiscite and rule of majority after having driven the potential opponents out of their homes.
I was happy to see the movie in an empty theater on the second day of its release. People have given their clear verdict despite good acting and dramatic content.

Yesterday I saw Haider. What a movie....wah...This movie is a package of screenplay,music, acting and overall the adaptation in Indian context. Even the minute details of Vishal is really commendable like the way kashmiri pronounce "ed" in English.Another thing I like the surreal song everybody humming when they are digging their coffin, the same song was sung by female protagonist before her death.Another goose bumping scene is in a lorry of dead body a boy suddenly wake up and started shouting in Joy for his aliveness. There are so many panoramic scene of Kashmir yet drenched in blood.

First cue the movie is good....people getting emotional over it and cud not help writing about their feelings...unlike mindless comments like ohhhhhhhh so cuuuuuuutttee and how beautiful or simply bakwas movie commenting of pathetic acting etc..that usually decor the comment wall of movie reviews, if a film is forcing for emotional response from viewers..its slated to be good....any person who is old enough and is following the news from 1990s till today will understand in this world nothing is absolute true or false except the response at that point of time by the people at that time...the true courage is to explore all the alternate viewpoints regarding a situation and agree to disagree...the film should be celebrated by brilliant performances by all of the actors and awesome music created in the movie especially the short song in sync with digging grave...the lal chowk...the winding lane of srinagar are thrown in with equal importance as the scenic beauty also....the background issues it raises...the suffering of people...the impact of whole generation is shown...its just plain awesome...and yes i think it will be a good entrant for oscars...

i believe that haider is the best bollywood movie ever. This is the first movie in bollywood wherein Muslims (esp. Kashmiri's) are not shown as terrorists. I would like to thank vishal for this. Kashmir is suffering since 1990 and the pain through which people of kashmir are suffering are far more than the pain shown in the movie. Still it is a good attempt from bollywood. I am so hurt on reading the reviews of people here, I don't want to get indulge in any non-sense discussion but I just don't understand that why people are calling it anti-national movie. That means people of india dont take Kashmiri's as the part of India. Very Sad guys if is it so then where are we wrong to demand Freedom. then we should be parted from India
