Ms. Mckenzie is dedicated to improving the lives of all IRC residents not just the community of Gifford, FL. I'm not sure what the reader's comment posted above means in regard of Ms. McKenzie's intentions for bringing positive change to the Gifford area. She has done more for that community than others who were born and raised there. Her passion lies in improving the quality of life for all IRC residents especially those residents in district 2 which includes Gifford. I support Althea Mckenzie because her passion is rooted in the best interest of the citizens of IRC, she has a strong working knowledge of the dynamics of IRC, and she is independent in her leadership and is accountable only to the residents of IRC, not special interest. The true voice for IRC district 2 is Althea Mckenzie. She has my vote.

I support Joe Flescher in his reelection. Because I know he cares for the black community and has helped this county. Althea Mckenzie does not have my vote because she uses the black community as props when she did for elections. She's very racially motivated and doesn't know what she's is talking about half of the time. We need real leadership and Joe Flescher is the best person!!
