pit bulls are not the once to be blamed it is the owners that should be blamed it is more about how you raise the dog than the breed i would never let someone put my pit down itis just wronge there should be alternatives like abidance school or something

Just yesterday, Christmas day, 2014, a man lost his life when he was killed in his living room by his own "pet" pit bull of eight years. He bet his life that this "dog" was a good pet, and he lost the bet.

BSL saves lives and limbs. People who try to make pets of pit bulls are simply fools. Just yesterday, Chr

Sites like dogsbite.org are part of the problem. They post numbers but not real statistics. There is no credibility to their so called studies. You can try and take my pit bull, but you ll have to go though me. I am the one you need to be afraid of!!!!

GoochLunch has no idea what they are talking about. By point of fact, small dogs are more likely to bite than bigger ones. There are PLENTY of pitbulls that are well behaved family dogs. Odds are the dog is not a pitbull anyway when they are labelled as such. There is only one true breed of pit bull-The American Pit Bull Terrier. Other dogs just have similar features.

pitbulls were created to kill and maim and dismember and eviscerate. they should all be put to death. how many innocent children need to die?!? how many more ignorant people trying to defend this creature need to see young children and elderly folks get mauled to DEATH before they realize that these animals are unable to be controlled?!?!?!

People needvto educate themselves on the history of the various pit bull breeds. They were bred to kill, just as retrievers were bred to retrieve. They are very strong and unfortunately persistent; once they have hold they do not let go. This is not about judging the breed, it is about accepting the reality of what the breed is!

Everyone needs to judge the dog NOT the breed. My son has rotwiehlers and they are the sweetest dogs it is how they are raised and what the owner teaches them. ALL dogs bite they all have teeth but most only to protect. I was bitten by a german shepherd as a little girl and it is very hard to get past that fear but DON'T just blame the breed include the owner and the way he or she was raised.
