Could Snoop Have Gotten Away With Talking About Beyonce Like He Did Iggy?

The only Black Women who are more venerated than the Queen Bee are Oprah and FLOTUS. If Snoop went in Bey like that -- the only gig he'd book next year would be Lester Finklestein's Bar Mitzvah in Long Island or an opener for New Edition on a New Orleans Riverboat.

What Snoop said was wrong, like the two of you said - Ninja's don't like Iggy, so we're not getting the legion of think pieces.

This is a prime example of how your petty agendas can get in the way of you true causes. People hate Iggy that much. There is no way in hell that Snoop would have done that to Beyoncé. In a matter of fact, he would not have made the original joke. I say that if you really don't think Snoop did nothing wrong, you need help.

Snoop would not have even attempted to go to Beyonce with that. Snoop doesn't try this with Nicki Minaj either. Bullies know exactly who to target, and that's exactly what he did. He knew that Iggy has enough name recognition to get front pages, and not enough devoted fanbase to raise a ruckus. By the way, it took how many days for TI to even step in on this? I guess he finally figured it was easier to make a phone call to Snoop than to have a face-off with Mayweather. I understand that calling for some "white knight" is an affront to feminism, but he's supposed to be her manager or something. Same goes for Usher with Bieber - y'all can't be out there collecting these white people to prop up your bank accounts and then leaving them caught out there when the wolves start attacking; don't they know white people don't know enough to run away from imminent danger? But Iggy's out there trying to respond to Snoop's sad attempt to stay relevant. Dude is damn near 50; "Doggystyle" was a long time ago, and he's out here on the Instagrams messing with the chi'ren.
