As much as I loved playing the 2013 GOY TLOU Remastered again, I wanted to vote for something completely new so my vote this year went to the extraordinary and extremely enjoyable "Middle Earth: Shadow Of Mordor"!
Rogue Legacy or Towerfall for me. Far superior when compared to their big budget brothers

Dragon Age Inquisition would of been one of my picks along with Outlast, probably my favorite game on the PS4 to date & an incredible value, & Thief &/or AC:Unity, loved both.
By a country mile Alien: Isolation grabbed me from the rest of the games this year. Of course I love FIFA 15 but the pure intense feeling of knowing the Alien is around and could potentially come out of a vent in front of you and have you for breakfast is simply amazing
It will sniff you out it will see you quicker than anything else on board that ship any noise will almost 100% make the Alien search the area of where the noise was its just so good to play and when you finish it you want to play it again for more fun and non stop gripping terrifying action
Just when I thought the Alien wasnt the only thing that could kill you on board either the people do and later in the game androids too but I never expected tonnes of Aliens and tonnes of facehuggers.
The best game in the gaming world of 2014 hands down. Give me a choice of other selected titles and I would always choose Alien: Isolation
The Last of Us remastered!
The touch ups the already great graphics received, the great plot and story the game has, and the tension and atmosphere you feel from the game. Simply amazing!

For me it's advanced warfare that wins over. The campaign was simply stunning and the add ins were a great addition. Either that or the last of us again. Alien isolation sucked cock. Such a shit game

Game of the year for me has to be The Last of US. played it 8 times now and still find new areas that I have not explored, superb story line. My other choices would be Tomb Raider remastered and A C Unity.

I am Voting for Alien Isolation because it is the first game I really felt like I was channeling my inner Allen Ripley so much fun when a game actually strived to put in the movies.

Alien: Isolation is the scary game I've always been looking for in the same sense that the Last of Us was the zombie game I had wanted for so long. Tense, brutal and slow this game had me hooked from the beginning and terrified me like no other game has before. Maybe it's a game for masochists, but I had no much fun being the hunted instead of some super powered hunter killing 100 soldiers in one fell swoop.
Alien isolation. The scariest, most fun and most beautiful game I've ever played. You can see the hard work that has been put in and I've definitely gotten my monies worth. Thanks guys.

Alien: Isolation... The best First Person game i've ever played
ALIEN: Isolation ... Hands down. I haven't felt the intensity and fear that the alien is supposed to present since seeing the first film in 1979. The developers nailed the feel of the move... FINALLY!
I have to go with Alien: Isolation. The intellectual property has had so many games based on it, but for one to feel like a new idea and fresh after all these years is a great thing to see. The attention to detail in the game, the atmosphere and the lighting all make for an awesome gamer experience. Even if the learning curve for many players was a bit high, they seem to have appreciated the product.
Alien Isolation, was the most enjoyable game for me this year. I loved how authentic it was to the original movie, and i think they did a great job in the atmosphere throughout the game. Bring on an authentic 'Predator' survival horror game next guys! ;)

Alien isolation. Not just cause of the game. But the developers themselves give a proper customer satisfaction. They've been very open with the issue and direct. Made this game so much more worth the money. Knowing its got the games interest.:)
undoubtedly some alien isolation was the best game of 2014 and the best I've played in 2014 and deserves much epic win incredible ambiance beautiful graphics handling the masterpiece history surrounding recommend everyone play better 2014 !!!

Alien : Isolation may not be for everyone but for the right people it is easily the most impressive game for the next-gen so far. Horror simulation at its best. Kudos to people who are brave enough to design and implement that kind of a unique game

Outlast, Dark Souls 2, The Last Of Us remastered and Destiny are easily the games I've had most fun with this year. Swaying towards Dark Souls 2 followed by Outlast though . Destiny would be up there if they sorted a few of the no or niggles out, still a great game though.
