Sports is a what hav you did for me lately type of league. WHAT HAVE CMR DID LATELY. Only 2 sec championship. Ppl he has NEVER went to a national championship game. I see the majority love losing and never competing for a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Columbus you are displaying your youthfulness by making foolish comments. I have been following UGA since1968 and won't waste my time anymore as long as CMR is in charge.
I don't care that he is a good Christian. I want a coach who can win it all. Every year Richt repeats his annual goal for the team - win the SEC. Nick Saban's goal is the same every year too - win the National Championship.
Richt is a rich boy from Boca Raton. He is not a top coach. BTW, UGA one a National title in the 40's as well. Perhaps you could google Charlie Tripp. Have a nice day.

Hey Columbus, easy on the man love. You list all these problems. Well, who was in charge during all these ongoing problems? We have a coach with a .656 winning percentage the last five years. Answer this, how does two poor states, Alabama and Mississippi, actually field four(4) teams better than UGA. Your reasoning is pathetic. Never fear, UGA will do absolutely nothing.

Why would anyone want to keep CMR. Sure he has a good winning percentage. We have the easiest schedule in the SEC. If you include the non conference games UGA can't go less than 8 -3. Which is what he always does. That means UGA loses to the only decent teams on the schedule. Well as CMR always says we still have a lot to play for -- a trip to Memphis, Shreveport or Boise

  • Nick Saban - 10 years ago

Look uga....pay me 15 million a year and I'll win you a national title within 2 years.

Richt has won zero. That's what its all about. Not win percentage. But if you want to go off that he's worse than Jim donnan in win percentage the past five years.

  • Mark Richt - 10 years ago

    I am not going anywhere.

  • dirtydawg77 - 10 years ago

Richt can/should stay with one condition. He has to fire Mike Bobo. If he is unwilling to do this than he should go as well.

  • Armydawg - 10 years ago

I've been a season ticket holder and contributor for 31 years. I want him gone. I hope someone is listening. Otherwise I am gone.

  • Columbus - 10 years ago

Blaming Richt is a joke! Look at his record over a LONG time. One of best in college history in toughest conference. You peoples reasoning is a joke. Young and dumb minority....SHHHHH

  • Columbus - 10 years ago

LOL do a poll like this after an upset loss? Pretty pathetic. Why not do it after the Arkansas game? Yeah thats what I thought. FYI Richt is a GREAT coach. Give Pruitt some time to get his defense adequate to go with Richts AWESOME offense. Calm down cry-babies. The entire planet knew UGA was not going to win it all this year. No defense. Less than average GA QB, no receivers on top of that half the season. Shredded depleted inexperienced defense. All is well in Athens. Chill out before you get your wish and become Florida! And lose integrity and character to boot. You should be PROUD, DAMN PROUD of your coach. If you arent then you are just too damn emotional. Little girls.

  • Ms. Richt - 10 years ago

    I need him at home.

  • RodneyT - 10 years ago

Wins plenty, and doesn't lose to Tech. They have never, ever fired a coach that met those two goals. Always gets loads of talent but that is also true historically. Winning the National Championship is simply unrealistic. UGA has only done that once and it was with the best collegiate player - EVER! Maybe it is something about the party atmosphere at UGA that keeps them from gleaming greater success. But I doubt Richt is to blame for something that has happened so rarely.

  • Coach - 10 years ago

CMR does not have what it takes to win a National Championship for UGA, That was demonstrated against Arkansas the 2nd half and against Florida - to have 2 weeks off and not be prepared - unacceptable at this level of play.

  • Rick - 10 years ago

How many times can I vote yes. McGarity and UGAA should be in the poll too...

  • TMANN68 - 10 years ago

The numbers would have been better for CMR last week.

  • Scooter - 10 years ago

I am guessing that most of the votes to keep CMR are coming from folks wearing Jean Shorts, Rocky Toppers with missing teeth, Bammers and Barners.

  • HottDoggit - 10 years ago

CMR has had his opportunity. He has proven that he is not an elite coach. Richt has not had a great season since 2005. Past time to go. Way past time.
