Can you still root for Jax after this?
Yes. He and Unser each stayed true to character: Unser is a good cop who wanted to both bring Gemma to justice and keep Jax from spiraling further for Tara. Jax had to face Tara's killer, no matter who got in the way. And even if he'd knocked Wayne out, killed Gemma, and fled, Wayne would've put another APB out on him. For the safety of SAMCRO, he needs to be able to move freely. He chose his brothers over Unser.
