There is no new Mariah Carey. There is only one and she has left that legacy. Arianna is a great singer for her age but there is a lot of great singers out here. I will like to hear her 20years from now and see what people say about her performance then as well. Compare this performance of Arianna to Mariah Carey at 20 and then vote... Both are great but both are also and individual artist so see they suppose to support each other as an artist should. It keeps the music alive and the legacy will always live through it. There's no competition... They both are and sound beautiful to me.

I love Mariah Carey and always have, she is extremely talented. I know she has sung that song better many times before. But What we have to remember is that we are comparing those two performances. For me, Ariana sang that song better than Mariah did. But it doesn't mean that Mariah Carey has lost it, she had an off day! She'll pull herself together and come back with a better performance next time.

You all realize that if you elect to bring anger into this poll then you are effectively wasting really good anger, right? Your anger is now meaningless. You are no longer allowed to be outraged by human trafficking or high crime rates because you went and used all your rage on this meaningless poll.
You can yell and scream in RT or type in all caps online, but your anger is hereby negated. You're outrage from now until the end of time is forever without meaning. You have proven yourself to be to eager to convey anger and are, therefore, a person that nobody can ever take seriously.

I love Mariah. This article is comparing a performance, really! Mariah has sang this song millions of times and this performance is not 5 hat bad. A little missed notes big deal, she is great and is the best. Come up off her. This is why MC is on tour out of the state's as foreigners appreciate n don't hate. Might I add she is sold out world wide and performing just fine. Get off it. #MC all the way

If I said it once I'll say a thousand times. Ariana is following Mariah's vocal footsteps really closely and will be the next Mariah. She can hit some mean notes and with enough practice and experience she will get there one day. New talent is here and we shouldn't shame her for being strong in her talent. Both artists are awesome singers and I can definitely see Ariana reaching Mariah's stardom.
