For every dollar spent, two more should be saved. If only it were that easy. What are some ways you plan to balance spending & savings in the new year?

Open an interest-bearing savings account with direct deposit. Specify an amount for every pay check I receive.

Enroll in my bank’s Savings Program. Such as Bank of America’s “Keep the Change."

Use a budgeting app/software, like Mint, to help guide me through my finances.

I do not see a need to save money on every paycheck. I put money aside when I can.

Why save? I’m just going to spend it anyways.
