Do you think cities should shut down sliding hills over liability concerns?

    I do feel that if we want to live in a society where we can run to a lawyer and sue successfully for our own risk taking, then we compel society (big brother) to try to prevent us from that risk taking.
    If there was a way of having people "sign off" on suing for their accidents, then the cities would just look the other way.
    Should any one of you happen to unfortunately end up supporting a disabled family member who had had an unfortunate accident on the hill - would you be able and willing to provide the resources needed, loss of income etc and care for that family member? Or would you also run to a lawyer and make "big brother" responsible?
