Are local and state officials doing enough to monitor and regulate pesticide use on the Treasure Coast?

    I agree that this is a crucial issue in the state as a whole. An important point alone is the lack of proper training of people who use this stuff. I cringe when I see herbicides being used around the ponds on the golf course to hold down vegetation growth to keep them looking pretty. I cant help but wonder how this affects the turtles, the fish, the birds that eat the fish, and maybe even the gators. Its a long eco-story and we may not be alive to see the ending. but future generations will.
